国际旅游学院是七夜直播的二级学院，院部设党总支、行政办公室、团总支、学生科、旅游管理教研室、英语教研室、酒店管理教研室。
院部的宗旨是培养以旅游业为依托、外语+专业的、具有全球视野的中高级旅游服务与管理能力的旅游语言人才。以“外语+专业”为特色，不断强化专业建设与发展，依托于学校的底蕴、背景以及环境。“外语+专业”是发展模式，“面向国际、面向世界”是发展方向，“外语”是学校的特征，积极探索双语教学模式，鼓励每一位学生精通第二外语，并在双语教育方面获益。学校注重培养学生的专业技能和素养，注重“文化传承与创新”，在传播优秀中国文化、世界文化和遗产的同时，也不断从异域文化中汲取有益成份，以激发中华优秀文化的活力，提升我国文化软实力。
国际旅游学院围绕“旅游”和“外语”这两大学科支柱，着力打造了语言本位及应用的教学研究团队和文化间旅游应用教学研究团队，创建了一个“双核”驱动型的师资队伍。前者包括：基础外语、应用外语、后者包括：国际旅游接待与服务、导游业务、景区服务与管理、旅行业务、餐饮文化、出入境旅游服务与管理，提供优质的教学课程资源。目前，学院借助“一带一路”的春风打造国际旅游和专业，与此同时学院正在逐步与国内外知名旅游企业共同开发校企合作课程。
为保证课程教学的实施和职业技能的培养，学院拥有一流的实验设施和实训场所。具有3D实景演示的环幕大厅可进行模拟导游教学；集虚拟演播、客房实训室、前厅实训室、中餐实训室、西餐实训室、烹饪基地等。
院部还提出证书融通以保证落实人才培养计划，提供学生宽阔的接地气的职业面向：一是出入境旅游职业（高端定制旅游、邮轮海乘、出境领队、展馆讲解、景区讲解等）；二是大旅游职业（酒水、茶艺、调酒、海洋旅游等）。
国际旅游学院教职工以教学为天职，深知身负教育大计重任，围绕学院人才培养目标，积极落实学院各项举措，精神饱满、工作认真、信心满怀，以积极的态度投入到学院的建设和发展当中。在学院党总支、团总支、辅导员和广大师生们大力支持和辛勤工作下，学院每年举办很多活动，如 “实践教学活动周”，有多元文化周、旅游文化景观景点讲解、冬季小学期、职业技能大赛等。
在老师们的指导和带领下，学生多次参加了多项省级和国家级比赛，在中英文导游大赛、客房服务大赛、西餐宴会主题设计、中餐宴会主题设计中都取得了好成绩。
院部还鼓励和加大教师与业界和旅游行业密切接触。以加强日常管理为起点提升教学质量，以良好教风促进学风，以良好的教学态度促进良好的学习态度。学院倡导开门办学，不能闭门造车，鼓励老师们走出去，参加更多的学术会议、教学会议，和更多的同行密切接触。学院正在积极筹完善人才培养目标和模式，以就业为导向培养和帮助学生掌握扎实的语言运用技能之外，还将更注重“大旅游、跨境商贸、外交外事”等方面的基础知识，使学生服务管理能力和跨境学识修养得到一定的提升；在职业面向方面，将在原有传统旅游的职业面向之外，还要朝着大旅游方向积极拓展。结合学院未来的发展与建设方向，院部在能给学生们提供国际化的工作岗位的同时能够更好地面向国际、面向未来，更好的体现旅游外语 “培养以旅游业为依托、外语+专业的、面向国际未来的学生”的目标。早日实现国际化的旅游学院。
Tourism Department is a sub-college of Hainan College of Foreign Studies covering such tourism-related majors as Tourism Management, Tourism English and Hospitality, alongside with other faculty offices. We aim at cultivating highly qualified talents with fine professional skills as well as excellent English language competence.
Featuring Foreign Language plus Profession, we spare no efforts in exploring global-oriented modes of professional education. By implementing bilingual teaching method, graduates of our department have developed superb oral English ability. In the meantime, we attach much importance to the education of Chinese traditional culture, world culture and historical heritage as well as professional skills formation.
We have a strong teaching body of veteran teachers of both majors of tourism and English, covering majors of Elementary English, Applied English, International Tourism Service, Tour-guide practice, Scenic Spot Service and Management, Handbook for Traveling, Catering and Culture, Immigration Service and Management.
We have first-rate labs and training centers of all majors. Classes of simulated tour guides can be given in 3-Dimensional Classrooms, together with classrooms of hotel-rooms, front desk, Chinese food, Western food and cuisine.
We have introduced Dual Certifications mechanism to guarantee full employment and multi-profession choices.
Over the years, our students have won prizes in national and provincial skills contests such as Chinese and English Tour Guide, Hotel Room Service, Western Food Banquet Theme Design and Chinese Food Banquet Theme Design.
We also attach great importance to co-operation with enterprises and always encourage our teachers to work and study in hotels and travel companies to become dual qualified teachers. We also focus on the notions of Greater Tourism, Foreign Trade and Foreign Affairs in terms of the concept as well as the basic knowledge to make our graduates better informed and more highly qualified. Dedicated to the goal of rooting in the tourism industry, featuring foreign language plus skills and facing the world, we are sure to fulfill the blueprint of a greater tourism department.
